Product Overview
Reusable OFC gasket is designed to use taper seal instead of knife edge seal, which makes it has bigger inner diameter than traditional gasket, obtaining more space for safe application. Besides, when CF Flange knife edge is broken, as the knife edge is easily injured by collisions and will gradually become blunt after long-term use, the traditional gasket couldn't be used for vacuum sealing. However, RUG is excellent for replacing traditional gasket to recover ideal vacuum. Reusable copper gasket can usually be reused more than 5 times.
The main advantage of RUG is that it can be reused, but it is slightly more expensive than standard OFCG. It can be used when CF flange is injured or under special circumstances. Specification
